Anthony Prestage '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello-my name is Anthony and I am a goalie graduating high school this year (2022). I have been on the ice since I was 4 and started my hockey career playing defensive. When I was 12 the team I was playing on lost their goalie and I had always wanted to play the position. So, I got my chance and loved the game even more. I currently work with Tyler Gallant a goalie coach in Los Angeles, and Kevin with Puckstoppers based out of Mass. My family recently moved from Oregon to New Hampshire in 2021 and I have been looking for a home team ever since. 

I am hard-working and dedicated to my hockey career. I am looking to advance my career and attend college as well. I would love to go to college and pursue a degree in architecture, or history focusing on mythology while I play hockey. Truthfully I would love to see my hockey career through to the pros, but I want a college degree as well. I watched my mom pursue her degrees over the last 12 years and I know that with hard work and dedication you can achieve anything. 

I know that I am still honing my game and have enjoyed working with Puckstoppers and learning a more technical side of being a goaltender. They are teaching me how to play the game without hurting my body. Academics are high on their list as well, they too believe it is important to further your education.
