My name is Lucas Constantine; I am a 2002 defenseman from California. I am not a very loud person. I really do not like chirping and trash talking. But I do love competing. I love being put against the best players, challenging myself to play to the best of my abilities each and every day I am on the ice. I would characterize myself as a defensively responsible, smart first pass, reliable, play-making defenseman. But I am always seeking to learn from my coaches and work on new skills to add to my repertoire. I approach academics just as seriously as I approach hockey, wanting to do my best work and meet the challenges the classroom presents each and every day. I cannot guarantee that I will score a lot of goals. I cannot guarantee that I will win every battle. I cannot guarantee that I will have a lot of success. But I can guarantee that I will compete every day. I can guarantee that I will be a mature man in and out of the rink and in and out of the classroom. I can guarantee that I will take opportunities I am given to become better because I realize every one of those opportunities is a blessing.
