I fell in love with hockey at a very young age and began learning/training at 4 years old through a program called Hockey Head Start. That program fed my desire to work hard to achieve my childhood dream of someday playing at a collegiate level and hopefully onto playing at a professional level which are both a once in a lifetime opportunity. I started playing competitively at the Squirt level on travel teams and have continued pushing myself over the past 8 years both on travel, house leagues, and middle school teams to continually grow as a player on and off the ice. I have searched out coaches that will help me to push further towards my goals as well and bring that next level of training. I play to improve my abilities, to push myself toward achieving my lifelong goal and for the love of playing the game. Throughout these years I've not only grown as a player but also as a person on and off the ice and take pride in the small successes and accolades I've had along the way. When I began my career I started as a forward learning both winger and center positions and have progressed to play defense for the past 2 seasons(19/20 & 20/21). These last 2 seasons my coaches have awarded me as Assistant Captain which I take extremely seriously and as a team leader, I try to lead by example. As a 14-year-old, my coaches saw my play and improvements and increased my playability by having me skate out for the 16U team last season(2019/2020). As a second year Bantam l ranked in the NJ League Leaders as 7th for goals scored, 7th for goals per game scored and 6th for points scored. For the 2020/2021 season as a 16 year old, my coaches saw my potential and asked me play on the 18UA team. I feel I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and recruits you'll find.
I have started my career as an on-ice official and have completed my Level 1 crest and will continue in the next 4 years while in High School to acquire the next 3 level crests.
As a Freshmen I made my High Schools Varsity Team and lettered. I have been cited on Morris Sussex Sports as an up and comeing player to watch. I also be played on the High Schools JV team for the 20/21 season. Off ice I continue to work hard in the classroom during this hybrid school year by taking AP courses and pushing myself to maintain a high GPA. I hope to use my volunteerism to assist the middle school team which I have aged out of, in a position as an Assistant Coach both on and off the ice.
I would like to attend a college where I can push myself further both on and off the ice. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my teammates and peers and the sport itself.
Thank you for reviewing my profile. I look forward to speaking with you.
