Michael Bussanich '21 Recruiting Profile

It has always been my dream to play College Hockey.  I have been a goalie since I was 7 years old and have been training with a goalie coach since I was 8 years old.  I started playing hockey on a B level travel team then worked my way up to AAA hockey when I was 12 years old.  I have played  three years with the Jersey Hitmen and last year with the NJ Colonials. This year I will be playing for the NJ Colonials on the 18U National team.  I have been fortunate to have played for coaches that have inspired, motivated and encouraged me throughout my hockey career.  Being a goalie allows me to have a big impact on my team which drives me to work hard and give it my all. 

In college, I plan to be the backbone of my team while being a positive influence for my teammates.  As I develop, I plan to continue earning high grades in my academics throughout my college years.  Being a college hockey player will allow me to fulfill my goals both athletically and academically.
