I would like to go to a program that has the desire to win and always strives for that even if we are having a downward year. My sophomore year i was on a team that struggled on the ice but that was also the year I realized just how hard the teams that are not the best really do have to work and we pulled together about 5 wins toward the end of the year and were a tough out during the playoffs. Having that experience we rolled into the next year ready to try even harder and the team got cut so we were all split onto separate league teams. being my junior year I knew time was running out and worked as hard as I could unfortunately we only recorded three wins. One of which was a shutout against the eventual league champions. Going into the final regular season game we took the regular seasons down to the final seconds were I let up the winning goal with 28.7 seconds a number I wouldn't let go of into the playoff where we had to face them again. This time rallying from behind we fought our way into overtime and lost with 16.3 seconds left. Being eliminated like this was the best thing I think to ever happen to me. The same team that had just eliminated us tried to recruit me to play for them and I turned them down. I knew the team I had was going to put the next season together because we had been the hungriest for the title we had all worked so hard for. What I'm trying to say is even if the team I'm on is struggling I'll put everything on the line to make that team win. Even if we have another bad year I'm still going to come out and win with that team, just like I did with my team in our second game of the year.
