Adam Swink '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play for a college hockey team at a school that I will enjoy and excel at academically, athletically and socially.

In the 2019-2020 season I played for the Ramapo Saints 16U AAA American in Ramapo NY.  Our team placed runner-up in the finals and 3rd in the league. Being this was my first AAA team I enjoyed the extra hard work and sacrifices I shared with my teammates to reach these positions.

Prior to this I had played out of my local rink, Ice Time Sports Complex in Newburgh NY for the Hudson Valley Polar Bears since I was 7 years old, in house for 5 seasons and travel for 3 seasons.  My first two travel seasons were Tier III and third season was Tier II.

 I participate in all offered rink clinics, Pro Ambition Battle Camp the last two summers, and most recently was selected to a USA Development Camp tryout which held triple AAA players. 

I would be a good candidate for a college team because I am determined and not afraid of hard work. I am a team player and very coachable. I have good leadership skills as I was Captain of my 1st year Peewee A team and Assistant of my 2nd year Bantam AA team.

In the off season my conditioning is running, biking, and weight lifting. In the seasons spring through fall I play golf and also work at my local country club in the golf department.

This past November I received my level 2 officiating certification and referee Squirt A and Peewee A games.
