I have committed to play for the University of Southern Maine Huskies beginning in the Fall of 2016!

The EHL season for the Apple Core Premier team has completed. While our team struggled (I was the only 2nd year EHL player on the roster), I finished the season as the team scoring leader (4 goals, 17 assists, 21 points, 40 PIM's in 31 games) even with missing 10 games with a broken hand.
I enjoyed my Junior Hockey career and am looking forward to continuing my playing career at the College level in the fall.

On the ice, I am the typical late starter you always hear about. Unlike most of my teammates and opponents who started skating at a very young age, I did not start until I was 11 years old, and I did not start playing ice hockey until I was 12. Since then I have proven myself season over season, moving up from a HS freshman team to the varsity, from public school varsity to Prep School varsity (Northwood), and from Midget Minor ‘A’ travel to the MJHL Junior 'B' league, and then to the EHL Premier Junior 'A' league. In addition to my success on the ice, I have displayed leadership and maturity, both on and off the ice. I have regularly been named Captain or Assistant Captain and I am consistently motivating my teammates, friends and community. I perform regular community service wherever I am, focusing on helping underprivileged or challenged children in the community.
Going forward, I expect to earn a degree in Athletic Training with a Coaching Minor and I hope to be able to give back to the community by helping other young hockey players overcome challenges and reach their potential. I also hope to be able to continue to further develop my hockey skills while in college so that I can reach my full potential on the ice.
Thanks for taking the time to read my personal statement and review my overall profile, and I look forward to speaking with you to discuss the fantastic opportunities that college hockey offers.
