Personal Statement

Hello my name is Nicole Garcia. I am a junior at Shoreham Wading River High School. I have been participating in Cross-Country and Track and Field since the 7th grade. I've always had a passion for running since I was very young. 

    I'm looking to pursue an education in medical health science and exercise science. I'm also striving to be an active participant in Cross-Country and Track and Field on a collegiate competitive level. I would be a good candidate on any team because I am extremely competitive and determined to reach new goals. I'm always striving to improve my records.

    Due to being petite I push myself harder then the average runner, which has given me the drive and ambition to excel in competing against others who have more of a physical  advantage.
