My name is Joel Charnecki and I have been playing travel hockey for four years now. My dream is to play College hockey. As a player, I hope hockey will teach me lessons that will help me build confidence and success once I am finished playing. Last season of hockey brought a lot of success to the point where my team won the State Tournament and had the chance to play in the AA National Tournament. We placed Third in the National Tournament. This year we won the Clearwater Beach MLK Tournament, Eastern Junior Elite Prospect League, Carolina Amateur Hockey Association 2019 State Championship Tournament, and we are going to the USA Hockey 2019 National Tournament. As a player, I am a play-maker, grinder, hard worker, smart, coach-able, and consistent.
I want hockey to help me to get into a good College . While in college, i'm looking to study Business and Accounting for any future opportunities. I am a great student that keeps up with my assignments and always checking up with teachers with work that I have missed. Hockey has also made me a great role model and teaching me to be more of a leader in anything I do not just in hockey (i.e group projects for school or being apart of my neighborhood swim team). Along with being a great leader I am a good role model. I would be a very recruitable athlete for your program for these reasons. I am passionate about hockey and I love playing the game.
