My name is Zach Lawson and I am a senior at Hoover High School in North Canton, Ohio. I am playing right wing on the U-18 Cleveland Lumberjacks for the 2014-2015 season and we are playing in the EJEPL this year. I was the leading scorer last season on my high school team with 26 goals and 36 assists. My sophomore year, our team won its first Baron Cup Championship in the program's 12 year history. I received the Vince Locastro Sportsmanship Award and scored 7 goals and 1 assist in the Baron Cup playoff games. I played pre-post hockey with the Ohio Prospects U16 AAA team for the 2013-2014 season.
My goal is to play college hockey at a school where I can obtain a quality education. My unweighted GPA is 3.65 and weighted GPA is 3.94. I am interested in a college with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of engineering. I am looking for an athletic environment where I can contribute to the success of the team. I am open to exploring opportunities at all divisions.
