My name is Tahber Rose and I am a junior at Butler High school. Currently, I carry above a 4.0 in school. I take my required classes, along with two honors classes; honors English and honors Algebra 2. My involvement with school shapes what I do at home. I also participate in the Octagon Club, an organization that helps our community with multiple needs. One recent project I completed was a food drive for the local food pantry. Maintaining my academics and volunteer work keeps me busy. However, I also like to spend time with friends and family and help them out with whatever they might need. When it comes to athletics, I participate on my school's track and field team. I like to run but when it comes to sports, hockey is my favorite. Ever since I stepped foot on the ice, hockey has been in my heart and every year I look forward to the start of the next season. I love being a part of a team and I take pride in doing my best individually in order to benefit the team as a whole. I enjoy competing against better players because it helps me improve my skills and I am continuing to train hard in an effort to make myself more competitive.
