Personal Statement

I've played many sports growing up, but I fell in love with hockey. My dream is to play college hockey at a competitive level. I am a very unselfish player, I value the team winning over my personal points. I am a pass first player as I would rather have an assist than score a goal. Over the past 5 years I have had more assists than goals. If my coach needs me at a different position than I usually play, I won't complain and I will do whatever the coach needs me to do. When I do score, it is usually off tips or rebounds in front of the net. Since I have already achieved one of my goals for the future, playing for a junior hockey team, my desire is to play for a high ACHA or NCAA team in the future.
