My name is Jackson Reid and I am a 2024 left wing. I have been playing since I was 6 years old and this is my 11th hockey season. My team won the junior varsity league championship in the MASHL league last year. We did not have a varsity team. Our goal this year is to win it all again, but at the varsity level. While individual effort is extremely important, we win as a team. I am a team player and look to learn as much from the players and coaches as possible. I am a good student and as a junior I attend classes at my high school in the morning and attend a technical college in the afternoon taking AP Physics and Engineering (Civil & Architectural). Fitness and endurance is very important to my success. I eat a healthy diet and focus on increasing my strength through a variety of exercises and strength training. My hockey coach is Garry Unger, who is currently 4th on the NHL iron man list. This is his second year as head coach and the opportunity to learn from him has been very rewarding. I want to continue my hockey career in college and study engineering.
