Coach,
My name is Paolo Sivilotti, I just finished my last year of Jr hockey in Canada and am now looking to pursue a career as a college hockey player in addition to getting a great education. I just finished my junior hockey career and did so in a particularly rewarding way. You see, my team, the Niagara Whalers won the GMHL Junior A championship, the Russel Cup. The team finished the year with a remarkable record of 56-3-1. Before that, I played for the Fort Erie Junior B Meteors in the GOJHL (Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League) for three years and was selected captain in my final year. I would cherish the opportunity to contribute to your hockey program.
I am a 6'0" 200 lb. stay at home defensemen who enjoys physical play with a skill set that includes precise passing, a heavy shot and above average speed. Terry Masterson my coach, will be the first to attest that I am a consistent performer with an eye toward strong defensive play. He relies on me to kill penalties and shut down other team's top lines. I support my team on and off the ice no matter what we are doing and will always back up a teammate. In my second year in the league, I was elected to represent my team in the 2014/2015 GOJHL All Star game where I registered 1 point. This past year, I was selected to the GMHL All Star team where I scored a goal.
Because of my late birthday (December 27, 1995) I've always been considered a "late bloomer" but through hard work and leadership I was able to be appointed captain on every team I played for in minor hockey and now Junior. I've been told by teammates and coaches I'm a great motivator on and off the ice and lead by example.
I would love to learn more about you, your hockey program and your school. Hopefully once you see my playing ability you will have interest in me as a potential recruit for your 2018 team. You can see my games on line at fasthockey.com or I would cherish the opportunity to meet with you in person. If you have any questions or any interest I can forward you my coach's references upon request.

Paolo Sivilotti
