Eddie Gensel '20 Recruiting Profile

My goals in life are to provide for my family, succeed in life, play the sport I love and live the dream that will become a reality, being in the NHL. I was inspired to play hockey because my dad died and he loved hockey, so I wanted to make him happy. I have learned how to love the sport. I feel like I can extremely contribute to teams because I provide explosive offense, the best snipes and dangles, and be a leader and the best role model I can be. My character is filled with joy and sympathy, but I don’t have much sympathy on the ice. If you cross my path, you will get lit up. I am a true-sport athlete, doing hockey, soccer and baseball.  Academically, I have had all straight A’s and have been on the National Honors Society since 7th grade.
