Beginning of seas...Personal Statement
I have always been passionate about hockey and started playing at a very young age. Since grade 7 I have been part of the Student-Athelete program combining high-level intensive sports training with an enriched educational path.
The 2021-2022 Season was very different for me. After the selection camp, my coach told me that I was a well rounded player and asked me to play at Center instead of Defense. I saw that as a great opportinuty to improve my offensive skills. Also, I found out that I was pretty good at winning faceoffs.
Before COVID, I was playing for the Vert Et Noir Bantam AAA and although the team was having great difficulties winning games, I loved my season. Being a defenseman in a struggling team, I had a lot of work to do and the challenge was great!
I like when the game is fast and I don't mind being ruff. I have been named best defensive player by former coaches.
In school, I always kept high grades and received certificates from my teachers for my perseverance and work ethic.
