Hockey has been a very important part of my life since I was 3 years old, and the sport has been a big part of our family life. Through playing hockey I have learned the values of teamwork, perseverance, and good sportsmanship, which have not only improved my play on the ice, but also myself as a person. As a student-athlete, I intend to perform well on the ice and in the classroom, as I have done throughout my life. I have the discipline and drive to perform well in academics and sports.
I have been a part of many great teams with great coaches over the years, starting out in Ohio on the Shaker Heights Red Raiders, then when moving to Rhode Island I joined the Providence Jr. Bears, and I am going to play for the AAA Providence Hockey Club along with the Barrington High School team my freshman year. I believe I have the talent and work ethic to develop the skills necessary to play goalie for a junior or college hockey team.
