Brayten Bauer '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches and Recuiters.  

I started playing hockey at the age of 5 and have had the opportunity to play both as a goalie and a skater.  When I wasn't in the net, I was skating out as a defensive player until 2021, when I chose to focus on one position full-time.  Playing both positions has given me a deep understanding of the game, allowing me to anticipate where the skater will shoot the puck and make strategic plays.  I believe I would be a valuable addition to you team because I am a dedicated team player who works hard both on and off the ice.  My commitment extends to my academics, where I strive for excellence.  What sets me apart is my approachable nature and ability to make friends easily, fostering a positive team environment.  One of my proudest moments was winning the 2024 USA Hockey National Championship 14U Tier II in Buffalo, NY, which reinforced my love for hockey and my desire to play at the highest possible level.  I am eager to bring my skills, passion and teamwork to your program.
