I have loved playing with all of my teams throughout high school, and have enjoyed meeting new teammates in different places and levels. If I don't feel chemistry or connections on the ice, then I try to work with my teammates to build a foundation for that, so we can work, play, and score better. I recently moved to Utah from Maryland, and was put in D2 varsity and the junior varsity team, however I think that it was good for me this year. It taught me leadership, on and off the ice, and I got to know other people that would help me throughout the season. I loved being captain of the J.V team, because of all the ways I could contribute to progressing the team, and also helped me with my personal progress. Although I was double rostered for a season, it did not affect my education and grades and was able to manage my classes and maintain a 3.4 GPA that semester. I am looking forward to our summer league, and next season too.
