Personal Statement

I believe that I am different than other players in the nation because of my commitment to hard work and both academic and athletic excellence.  I pride myself on staying focused on the task at hand and being a good leader.

In athletics I try to set myself apart through hockey IQ, play making, and leadership, this landing me 5 captaincies; all elected by my teammates. Academically, I've demonstrated a strong work ethic which can be seen in my success with advanced classes throughout middle school and further placed me in all advanced classes in high school.

After college,  I'd like to pursue a career in high school education, coaching on the side.   Ultimately, my dream is to become a Hockey Director of my own club where I can manage a program and coach all age groups.
