I am a 2008 Goalie from West Virginia. I have loved playing hockey since I was very young and have always gravitated to the goalie position. I have always felt comfortable in the crease. I would like to continue to play hockey during my college years or in a junior program. I would like to become part of a team that lets me continue to play at a competitive level and be challenged to get better. I am a hard working student and athlete. I feel that I am a coach-able player and strong and supportive teammate. I have had to work hard to overcome some academic shortcoming such as dyslexia, but this has thought me that hard work can lead to results. The long diving hours to hockey, playing in a different state, has thought me how to organize time and prioritize work. I work hard in practice and am a leader in drills both on and off the ice. If given an opportunity I am sure I can work to become a contributing member in a college or juniors program.
