There is nothing I enjoy more than playing lacrosse.
I've developed a passion for this sport that drives me to push myself to become the best. Wether it's playing wall ball, working in the gym, or watching myself on film, I'm always looking for new ways to improve my game. I have always prided myself on my footwork and strength, and those are both huge components of my game, but there is always room to improve in both of those areas.
After losing in the championship my freshman year, I realized that I couldn't rely on the natural athleticism I had been born with. That summer, I put in hours of work to become the best that I could be. All that hard work paid off, as I ended up becoming a varsity captain as a sophomore and being unanimously selected for all-conference. However, we only came in seventh that year, so I know there is still plenty of work to be done.
I want to continue playing the game I love and becoming the best athlete I can be at the school that will prepare me best for my future. I understand that as a student-athlete, my education must come first before I see time on the playing field, and the hard work I put into lacrosse will translate into my academics.
My leadership and work ethic have set me apart in my conference, and set me apart from other recruits in my class.
