My name is Kai sanderson , and I am a 16-year-old lacrosse player standing 5'10" and weighing 185 pounds. With 10 years of experience in both Box and Field Lacrosse. I am passionate about the sport and have consistently played at a high level, striving to improve both individually and as a team player.
In 2024, I had the honor of being named Assistant Captain of the U17 Nanaimo Timbermen, competing in A-level Box Lacrosse in Nanaimo, BC. Under the guidance of NLL Hall of Famer Kaleb Toth, I gained invaluable leadership experience and advanced my skills in the sport.
Additionally, I earned a spot on the prestigious Fusion West U17 Elite Travel Team based in Vancouver, where I was coached by current NLL player Kevin Crowley. This opportunity allowed me to compete in the Recruiting BC’s Best event, where I showcased my skills and commitment to excellence.
I also attend the Lacrosse Academy at Nanaimo District Secondary School, where I play as a Defensive Pole (D-Pole) for my high school team. Recently, we participated in the Space Needle Shootout from December 6–8, and in November, I helped my club team secure victory at a major tournament.
In July 2024, I had the privilege of representing Zone 6 (Vancouver Island) at the British Columbia Summer Games. This experience marked a significant achievement in my lacrosse career, as I was also selected to represent my zone in the 2022 BC Summer Games, where we earned the Silver Medal.
Looking ahead, I am committed to continuing my lacrosse journey while pursuing a degree at a respected institution. I plan to use my passion for lacrosse to not only contribute to a collegiate team but also to help me achieve academic success.
