Grant Ledger '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello!

My name is Grant Ledger. I have been playing lacrosse since the 3rd grade. Last Spring I completed my sophomore year at Granite Bay High School as starting Attack for the Granite Bay Men's Varsity Lacrosse team. I am now entering my 9th season with ADVNC Sacramento, more recently ADVNC NDP, as well as my 3rd season with Sacramento ACES, two elite local travel teams that have given me the opportunity to travel to locations in California, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland and play against like-minded athletes, many who have gone on to play lacrosse at the highest collegiate levels.

I pride myself on my work ethic, being a supportive teammate and a 'coachable' athlete. I have learned to use my size to my advantage, but it is with the understanding that I must excel at a focused skill set that allows me to outwork, outmaneuver and outplay those of greater stature. I am continually working to improve my lacrosse IQ which will better allow me to anticipate slides, move to open space and find passing lanes. I am a team player first, putting the needs of the team above those of my own.

Lacrosse is my passion. It's more than just a game. It encourages me to be the best version of myself and challenges me to grow my relationships, seek higher learning and discover new and fulfilling ways to give back to my community. It has been my honor to share my love for lacrosse by helping to develop the next generation of student athletes. I have coached at the youth level for the Granite Bay Jr. Grizzlies and I also officiate 14U and under games for local teams in my area.

In addition to lacrosse, I take my academics very seriously. I work hard both on the field and in the classroom. I look forward to playing college lacrosse at a school with both a strong athletic as well as academic reputation.
