I started playing lacrosse freshman year of high school and fell in love with the sport. I began playing Varsity goalie during my sophomore year.
The goalie position is a role I greatly enjoy because I am in a position where I can have a large impact on the game and put the team in a better spot to win. The passion I have for goalie strongly motivates me to improve and become the best player that I can. I frequently participate in lacrosse activities outside of school such as clinics and clubs. Both the clinics and club play have given me the opportunity to improve at the game.
What I enjoy most about lacrosse outside of school is that it allows me to meet with different coaches and experienced players who always have a unique piece of advice that I can implement into my game. I also enjoy the leadership aspect of being a goalie, and I am confident in my ability to lead the defense and cooperate with teammates in order to set the defense up for success. Academics are also important to me. I have a 4.45 GPA and take all AP and honors classes.
