I am looking to combine my love of lacrosse and studies at the collegiate level. I take both lacrosse and my academics very seriously. I enjoy being challenged and will be looking for a collegiate match that will enable me to grow in both areas. My academic interests are math, finance or possibly engineering. My lacrosse goal is to play at the highest collegiate level that I am able to. I have been playing lacrosse for 7 years. It is my favorite sport to watch and play. The last 3 years I have played on the same travel team and have learned a lot from my coach. I think my experience on the travel team is one of the reasons I started on my high school varsity lacrosse team as a freshman last year. I have been told by many coaches over the years that I am a hard worker and that I have a good lacrosse IQ. I know that I have to work hard, both on and off the field, to continue to do well academically and keep improving my lacrosse skills. I have always had high expectations of myself but I also know that, whether I’m in the classroom working on a project or learning plays on the field, I am also part of a team. Working together and encouraging my teammates is just as important as my individual effort.
