I am from a relatively small school in Colorado and began playing lacrosse in 6th grade. I picked up the sport quickly and it has become my main focus ever since! Over the two years of high school lacrosse, I've competed as a starter on the varsity team as attack, midfield and short stick defensive midfielder. Two things that set me apart from other athletes include my work ethic, and my ability to work as a team player. In 2018, I was in the top ten highest scoring freshman/sophomores in the Colorado 4A League. I practice everyday and am part of the True Colorado Lacrosse Club during the off season. My lifting schedule is 3 times a week, and as I get closer to the season, increase to 5 times per week. In the fall, I compete in cross country (sub 19 minute 5 kilometer, top freshman in the region) along with soccer, which I began my junior year. As I said, I am from a relatively small school! During summers, I volunteered as a junior sailing instructor with a non-profit, Community Sailing of Colorado, where I have accumulated over 500 hours of community service, as well as working as an official sailing instructor for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. Ultimately academics are my highest priority but, lacrosse is my passion.
