Lacrosse has been a love for mine since my early youth (7 years old to be exact), yet throughout the years the love for the sport has never faded despite the immense time I have spent surrounded with the sport. Through lacrosse, I have nurtured the competitiveness that drives me to to strive for the highest quality of achievement both on the field and in the classroom. I am a two sport athlete, which lettered in varsity for lacrosse in both my freshman and sophomore year, being a full-time starter both years. I challenge myself in the classroom, taking multiple AP and honors classes whilst maintaining a 3.66 GPA. Lacrosse has taught me countless lessons that have made me who I am. Lacrosse has brought me through highs and lows, teaching me life lessons such as work ethic, responding to failure, leadership, and countless more which have influenced my life in such significant ways. More than anything else, this sport has taught me how to embrace my differences, how to apply myself and standout. Thus, my future aspirations regarding lacrosse is not to simply make a college team, but to thrive at the next level. Lacrosse has taught me to refuse the norms, and push myself to be a trailblazer. I believe that through my journey I have the necessary skills to change the game all-together. Therefore, I believe I can make an immense impact as I push myself to pursue a different mindset, a different culture. Most of all, I push myself to be a different breed. Thank you for your time.
