Christopher Gottlieb '22 Recruiting Profile

My aspirations are to attend college for a business degree while also being able to play lacrosse.  I have a great attitude toward both, am tenacious and very resilient.  I am not afraid to take on new challenges and at the same time realize my limitations as well.  I strive hard to raise my game in and out of the classroom and always push higher.  I love playing defense, protecting my goalie and keeping the shots out high where he has a better chance to save them, or simply sealing him behind GLE.  I love to communicate and work tight with my fellow defenders systematically around the goal.  I have a desire to help out my teammates and make the team better, not just myself.  I am energetic and really look forward to obtaining a business degree where my character can really shine and be a contributor in the working world.  I think I am different than most other athletes because as a defender, I am young for my grade and apparently a late bloomer for growth.  This has forced me to work harder and be tougher, better preparing me for the day when physicality will equalize.
