Hi, I'm Max Yates currently, I attend Greens Farms Academy, a highly academic institution in Westport Connecticut. My GPA is currently 3.6 unweighted, and I take two AP classes and an honors class. This fall I made the decision to stop getting recruited for soccer, and to focus my time and efforts on lacrosse to go to the best possible school I can go to. I have played lacrosse since I was eight years old, and I have been playing club since I was 12. I have been a high school varsity starter since 8th grade. As a sophomore, I was selected as an STX Rising showcase standout. In my high school season, I was selected as All-FAA, led the league in groundballs as an LSM, and have been selected as Captain for my junior season. I play for one of the best club teams in the state CT Wolves 2021 AA. Currently, I stand 6', weigh 180 pounds, and expect to grow further this year. I pride myself on my work ethic, strength, speed, and ability to collect groundballs and transition on offense. My greatest assets are my speed and ability to make the right decision with the ball.
