Alexis Tello-Lawrence '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alexis and I've been playing lacrosse for a couple years now, I fell in love with the sport and have made it my goal of playing for a division one school. I mainly play attack but also play midfield. Playing lacrosse makes me feel genuinely happy, its an emotion i don't see many of my peers having, I train with my father at his gym for the sport and play on a nutmeg team over the summer. I can put points on the board but also move the ball and disrupt the defense. In the fall I play Varsity soccer and last year was in the school Jazz Band which is a year long honors credit. I dream of being in one of the Big 10 schools, and I will keep pushing until I make it there. Lacrosse is my passion and it's a year long anticipation until the next season, this year I am looking to go to a multitude of showcases and prospect camps in hopes of furthering my chances of committing to a school for lacrosse. In the future i want to major in business management or entrepreneurship.  I had a rough year sophomore year with a lot of injuries but i intend to come back with at least a 3.0 GPA in my Junior year.
