Brady Higgins '22...Personal Statement
I want the opportunity to play volleyball at the next level. I am from New Britain, Connecticut, and am a student at Xavier High School in Middletown, Connecticut, where I play volleyball for Coach Stefanie Reay. I play Setter (currently in a 5-1) and am interested in continuing playing at this position, but would be more than willing to adapt my skillset to play a different position if necessary. Additionally, I’m interested in pursuing a degree in Business. I want to go to a school that will push me individually, academically, and athletically. I want to be a part of a volleyball program that is competitive, upholds a winning culture, and obtains comradery between all players and coaches. More than anything, I want to be in a program that pushes me to be the best version of myself both on and off the court, challenges my intellect in the classroom, and develops me to be the best well-rounded individual I can be. At the end of the day, my athletic goal is to be a national champion, and I will keep working day in and day out until I get there. See you at the top.

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. I have always taken as many honors classes as would fit into my schedule. My freshman year I took 5 honors classes. My sophomore year I took 4 honors classes (1 AP). My junior year I took 3 honors classes (2 AP). Upcoming for my senior year, I am scheduled to take 1 honors class (4 AP). The only reason the number of honors classes I have taken has decreased is due to the increased number of AP classes I am taking.Are you in AP/IB classes?

My junior year, I took two AP classes (AP US History and AP English 11).
