Hello,
My name is Scott and my goals are to challenge myself, earn a degree in biology or architecture and have lacrosse continue to be a large part of my life and identity. Ideally I would love to play professionally, but at minimum, I want to play for my college of choice and be a part of their strong LAX program. I am a good candidate for your team because I am always eager to learn and take on new challenges. I enjoy picking up new techniques and then add them to my own game. I am well disciplined and ready to learn. I enjoy challenges, especially in sports, and I like to think my athleticism can help your LAX program move forward and help me grow as a member of the team.
I am different than other recruits because I am considered an all-around athlete. In my Freshman, Sophomore and Junior high school years, I was on the Varsity soccer, basketball and lacrosse teams. In my Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years, I was a starter for all 3. I am well rounded and I enjoy athletic challenges. I was selected All-State Second Team in both my Sophomore and Junior years and lacrosse is by far my most accomplished and preferred sport. I became a lacrosse player in 4th grade and abandoned baseball after that. I have challenged myself, played on both Club and Indoor Winter teams and have honed my skills whenever possible. It is not unusual to see me outside daily, perfecting my shot and practicing my game. I would bring that commitment to your team and would welcome the opportunity to learn from your staff and other team members as well. I have always been considered a very coachable athlete and give my team my best efforts to secure the win.
