My name is Gabriel Hammen-Smith, I attend Sussex Central High School, and currently play on my high schools varsity lacrosse team. I have played lacrosse for 9 years in the Maryland/Delaware area via; Fruitland Falcons, tournaments, travel teams and summer leagues. I have a very strong work ethic as a student and an athlete. I have always received A's and B's in honors classes throughout high school. My goal in college is to pursue Engineering. I would love to take my passion for lacrosse, and hopefully continue my lacrosse career in college as well. As an athlete, my coaches notice that I am coachable, and show leadership skills by doing what's best for the team, both on and off of the field. I am currently one of the team captains at my school, and I strive to be the best player and role model that I can be while helping my teammates perform at their best. While midfield and attack are my main positions, I am able to support the team by often playing faceoff, defense, long stick midfield and goalie. I look forward this next step in my future, and believe I would be a great asset to your school both academically and in lacrosse.
