Ryan Daley '23 Recruiting Profile

After playing defense for a small local club in middle school, I found myself joining the high school team after covid restrictions were lifted. During my sophomore season, our team had dwindled and found ourselves without a goalie and no volunteers.  I was new to the team, but wanted to do what was needed for us to be successful.  Even with little experience, I had a great season that included a few shutouts and honorable mention for All-Conference. 

Junior year was challenging when our team stats and team morale went south.  This situation generated the framework for much personal growth, learning the value of teamwork, commitment and leadership, as well as, how a few positive words to my teammates can turn the worst day into fun and learning.

I am looking for a program that supports my desire to become a leader in Information Security, but also, be a good fit for me athletically. I am looking to compete on a college level and believe that I have the talent, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an impact on your program.  As a captain of the varsity lacrosse team, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
