2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I'm in my 7th year playing lacrosse, 6th as goalie. I'm driven by the intellectual and physical demands of the sport, which is why I want to play college lacrosse as I study engineering. But it's the camaraderie of the lacrosse community that compels me to be the best player and person I can be. I take pride in being known as "a coachable player" by multiple coaches. I faithfully follow my first lax coach's advice: I practice like I play, no matter what kind of day I've had off the field. Once I'm in the net, focused on the on the team and the ball, everything else seems to slip away. I love this sport, and I want to play at the next level with others who have a similar commitment and balanced outlook on life.
