Personal Statement

I was introduced to lacrosse on the rec field when I was 9. Even then, I was fearless. My lacrosse instinct has developed to make me a true asset to any team. I am able to see the play develop before it happens and have the skills to execute. As a freshman, I started every game at X for my varsity team. I play football too, and even though I'm average size, my skills, motivation, and work ethic drew the attention of the varsity coaches. As a freshman, I was pulled up to varsity for several football games. I would love an opportunity to play both sports in college, if I had to choose I would pick lacrosse over football any day. My passion for the sport has truly developed, and I could have a larger impact on the lacrosse field.

He did an exceptional job of scooping up tough ground balls and pushing transition into the offensive end. He showed an innate ability to hop in wherever he was needed and do a great job. For example, on one occasion he stepped in and played on our man down defensive unit and did a great job. He could improve his game by working on his dodging ability and footwork. He has good stick work that could be helped by an ability to run by his defensemen more often to free his hands. Thank you for participating at our event. We hope you had a positive experience. If you have any questions on the player evaluation information, please contact [email protected]. Have a great rest of the summer. Ryan Boyle CEO Trilogy Lacrosse
