Over the past couple of years, I completed many service hours towards my community in a variety of ways. I worked at an Equine Rescue Ranch and in both elementary and middle school I participated in the Pensacola Children’s Chorus. This community organization incorporates singing theatrical productions that built my confidence and helped me be the person I am today. Several times a year we performed in front of large audiences with hundreds of people present which also boosted my confidence level as well and improved my social skills. In middle school on an athletic career path, I participated in multiple sports including cheer, basketball, track, and volleyball. By the time I reached high school I selected to continue to play basketball and have made the sport a year-round priority. I also enjoy working in property management with my grandmother who is a realtor in the states of Florida and Alabama. I help her paint, landscape, and perform routine maintenance. Although most young people nowadays prefer communicating electronically, I enjoy engaging in person to person communication. As I further my career in basketball and in the athletic field, pursuing career options in sports medicine, personal training, and fitness are most interesting to me. Putting in extra time, effort, and practice at my local gym regularly has benefitted me significantly. Playing with experienced co-ed basketball players has pushed me further along in my basketball talent. I enjoy engaging in outdoor activities with my family on a regular basis visiting national and state parks and furthering my knowledge of the world around me.
