My goal is to attend a college that affords me the opportunity to participate in lacrosse while providing an academic curriculum that is challenging. I also want to be part of the school's community and contribute beyond athletics and academics in service work, clubs and any other programs that will expand my overall being.
Both my brother and sister have attended college and their advise on the importance of putting in the time academically is something I know is important at whatever school i attend. This has been an area I have been especially focused on the past 2 years in high school and plan on bring that same work ethic to college.
I love playing lacrosse being it is a team game that involves good strategic planning and execution of those plans in multiple facets of the game. In my role as goalie for both my high school and club teams it is my responsibility to make the defensive calls. This can vary by each possession which makes the game so rewarding. Additionally, as team captain I need to be a good leader and set the example for sportsmanship and support of all our players.
I am hopeful to find the school that is the right fit that meets the areas outlined and makes my 4 years of college memorable.
