Personal Statement

My name is Matt Morgenroth and I am a Midfielder in the Class of 2021. I want to attend a college where I will fit in well academically and athletically. I love playing lacrosse and want to play in college in a competitive environment that also provides an excellent education. I would be a great candidate for your team because I have am a person of character, have a strong work ethic and stamina, and put the team goals first.

I am consistently noted for great field vision and unselfish play. I typically am among the leaders on my teams in scoring and ground balls but I actually enjoy giving great assists every bit as much as a goal. I have received Varsity letters as a Freshman in Lacrosse, Cross-Country, and as a Scholar Athlete. I received the Leadership Award as a Freshman at the Gwinnett County Lacrosse Awards. I have earned a 2nd Varsity letter in Cross-Country this season, (Sophomore), and also ran in the State Cross Country Championships.
