My name is Griffen Sellers and live in Peachtree City GA. I have been playing Lacrosse for six years as a goalie. Football was my first love and I began playing as a five year old on the offensive line and as a Tight End. I played football up until the 8th grade. In addition to this, I have been a wrestler. I have since shifted my focus exclusively to improving my Lacrosse game, but I give credit to both of those sports for developing the mental toughness and footwork needed to excel at the goalie position. I accept coaching and criticism as a necessary component to fortifying my relentless drive to be the best goalie possible. I have a twin brother who also plays mid-field for my High School at Starrs Mill. Both of us are competitors and come from an athletic family. It is because of this commitment that enabled me to play on the JV team while in the eighth grade. I am grateful that my parents have given us the opportunity to compete at every level and in the respective sports of our choosing. I simply want to be a great teammate and the best at my position. In that order.
In addition to my focus on success at school, my friend and I started our own business doing landscaping and yardwork in our community. We started this when we were twelve and it continues to this day. When I am not playing Lacrosse this keeps me busy. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, fishing and playing pick-up basketball.
