Moving to Georgia from New York in the summer of sixth grade was a big change in my life. Leaving behind all of my friends, family, traditions, and my sense of home opened up opportunities to better myself as a person. I developed new traits and habits, some good and some bad. Before I moved, it was tough for me to make new friends and talk to people I didn’t know, but after coming to a school that I knew no one at, improved my abilities to make new friends and talk to new people. This has benefited me in a lot of ways. I have built bonds that cannot be broken, and have been given a sense of brotherhood with friends, teammates, and classmates.
I first started playing lacrosse in second grade after going to one one of my closest friends game. My friends dad brought me to practice and I fell in love. My biggest goal is to play collegiate lacrosse. Playing lacrosse and bettering my education at a college is something I think about 24/7 and I work hard to succeed in academics and on the field. I have been working hard and I will continue to work tirelessly so I can reach my ultimate goal.
