Kellen Brechbill '17 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a college or university with high academic standards that also has a competitive lacrosse program. I am interested in a career in sports communications. I want to have a full college experience at the university I attend which includes academics and sports.

I’ve been playing lacrosse since I was eight years old, and I love the game. I’ve always played the midfield position and am a team player in every sense of the word. I see the field well and am aggressive to the ball. I’m an unselfish player and value assists as much as goals but I’m not hesitant to shoot when the opportunity is there. I am a very versatile player. I can shoot and pass with authority with both my right and left hand. I always give 110 percent during practices, games and in my academics. I am extremely dedicated to my sport.

My goal is to play lacrosse for a college that has  high academic standards and a competitive lacrosse program.

I work during the summers for the City of Roswell’s Recreation and Parks Department and play summer lacrosse. I also work out vigorously at a local CrossFit gym to become faster, stronger, and highly conditioned for my lacrosse game.

I volunteer at local lacrosse camps for younger kids to help them become better players. It is very important to me to give back to my community and to my sport as lacrosse becomes more popular in the south.

I look forward to hearing from coaches at schools that have great academics and competitive lacrosse programs.
