My name is Andrew Baumley but you can call me AJ and I am currently a freshman at Huntley High School. I’ve been an athlete since before I was in kindergarten. While I’ve tried several sports, I’ve studied Taekwondo for 6 years and have played lacrosse for the last 5 years. In Taekwondo, I competed in sparring at the local, state and national levels while earning my 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree black belts. I was introduced to lacrosse 5 years ago and have played community and travel club teams. I consider myself a utility player since I’ve played all positions. Recently I’ve concentrated on middie and face offs. I’m an asset to my teams because of my leadership and my ability to read the game to execute strategic plays. My goal in high school is to play on the varsity team. My goal after high school is to play lacrosse in college. I’m currently interested in a career involving athletics.
