Personal Statement

Lacrosse is more than a game, it is more than scoring a goal and getting a win, it’s about a true sense of team and dedication it’s about lifting your teammates up and inspiring them to be better.  This is what the sport of lacrosse has given me as a player it’s a game rooted in a deep tradition where your character and integrity are just as important as how you play.  I fell in love with this game the first time I picked up a crosse.  I am able to play both right and left handed, passing and shooting.  It is my goal to play in College someday of given the opportunity, my ideal team to play for would be one who is committed to being their very best on and off the field. 

 I began playing football when I was four years old in Wisconsin. With my Dad’s job I’ve moved around the country many times since then and I’ve played in many states. What I truly love about football is not only is it a sport where you rely on the player next to you, they are also relying on you, so you must be your best each and every down. As a lineman there’s little fanfare, the glory comes from making a good run or pass block each and every play that allows your team to advance the ball. As a player I endeavor to be be relentless in my pursuit of excellence each and every down so I make a positive impact for my team! Being a lineman is a at the heart of football, it takes tenacity, a willingness and want to put other first, the heart of a warrior, and above all humility.
