In 1st grade, while living in Boston, my neighbor invited me to a stick skills clinic he was having at the local community center. I can't say I loved lacrosse from day 1, but I can say after learning the fundamentals of the game I totally fell in love. I have had a lacrosse stick in my hand for the past 10 years and have dedicated myself to improving my skills and game IQ ever since.
I currently live in Naperville, Illinois and attend Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana where I am in my sophomore year of studies. My favorite subjects are Math and English. I have enjoyed many aspects of attending Culver including the leadership program, the brotherhood and meeting and learning from many new people. Living away from home has brought some challenges but I have learned many coping and life skills that will help as I get older.
The lacrosse program at Culver has been the highlight of high school. I have made lifelong friendships and built strong relationships with my coaches. The program has not only made me a better lacrosse player but taught me so much about competition, commitment, routine and loyalty. With a team first mentality the program helps build character and trust among all of us.
