Nikolaus Young '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Nikolaus Young and I grew up in upstate New York playing soccer at age 5 to 14. After playing Varsity in my freshman year I found a new love, Hockey. I have played both ice hockey and inline hockey competatively for 5 years. I have now found my love of both sports in Lacrosse. I absolutely love the game and I seem to be good at it. My goal is to some day play professionally and help the world see how great of a sport it is. My favorite thing about the sport is the action, you always have to be alert, it changes every second. If you don't have the passion for the game it will leave you behind.
My major will be psychology so I can some day be a psychiatrist or a Christian counsilor if I don't go pro. I strive to be an example and help the others be the best they can be.
The highlight of this last year was the state championship victory we experienced in Kentucky to end the year. I have the drive to always succeed in all that I do. I am sure I would be a great addition to any team or college that will have me.
