I want to be able go through college playing a game I love while working on studying hard and getting an Education degree. I ultimately want to become a Guidance Counsellor in a high school. My sophmore year in high school was difficult. Being able to go to school was hard because I had a hard time dealing with light and sound due a concussion. This year (my junior year) I have fully recovered from my concussion and I am working as hard as I can to get the best grades possible. I have recently moved so I can play field lacrosse, as I was a box player my whole life. Picking up field wasn't hard for me at all. Even though in box you only use your dominate hand I tried to use my weak hand just as much. I thought it would benefit me in some way and it did.
I am a strong leader, very committed to the game, and very easy to teach. I am very confident on how I play my game but I am very open to learn more on how to become a better and stronger player, I am very calm when I play. I stay away from doing things that will give me penalties or suspensions. I will come out when ever so I can to get some extra practice. I am very quick on my feet, I can usually catch up to people while back checking. I will run camps if someone needs help teaching the little kids, I love getting out there and helping grow the game. I have refereed box for 5 years and have a Level 2 Certification. I like going to the gym and working out, I try to stay as healthy as possible. I enjoy having fun with friends but I stay away from drugs and alcohol. I am my own person, I don't follow people to be "cool" or "popular". I really like music, I am always looking for people to play with and I always love learning new instruments. I am mostly guitar and I have learned a lot in the two years. I took very few lessons, I taught myself most of it. I believe I have the talent, character, and leaderships skills to play college lacrosse and will give 110% where ever I go, in school and on the field.
