Owen Karantonis '24 Recruiting Profile

My goals in college are to get a good education, make life-long friendships, and to continue my lacrosse career by playing for a competitive college team. I'm a hard worker, always striving to do my best and to achieve success. I don't like to lose and that is what motivates me. I have been told that I am very easy to coach and I have a high lacrosse IQ. I lead by example and I like the opportunity to contribute as an appointed leader or even as a silent leader. I'm like this in the classroom, too. When I was named starter on my high school varsity team as a freshman, I had to earn respect from the captains and upper classman quickly. I did this by leaving everything I had out on the field and by being humble. I plan to contribute this very same way in my next chapter, playing lacrosse for a school and a team that I am proud to be a part of.
