Athletics have always played a very important role in my life. I enjoy competing, being a good teammate, and working toward a collective goal. I am a multi sport athlete and enjoy my other two, soccer and hockey, but have always enjoyed lacrosse the most. As an attackman, I thrive when I have the ball and can be creative. I like to score, but take greater pride in distributing the ball and feel I have a knack in seeing the field as scoring opportunities develop. Being a three sport student athlete, I have always known the importance of both - student and athlete. It is important to keep my academics in good standing and I am hoping to improve my current GPA which will hopefully open up more doors in college. I have always wanted to play collegiate lacrosse and I am working everyday to fulfill that goal.
Coaches have alway said that I see the field and/or ice well. From a lacrosse standpoint, they have always said that I possess a very strong lacrosse IQ, which I take pride in. They have also said that I am an unselfish player and good teammate. I feel that I have grown tremendously through team sports and enjoy working in that environment. I currently play for a school with a very competitive lacrosse program and in a strong independent school league. With two full seasons remaining in my high school career, I look forward to working hard in the classroom and on the playing field to best prepare me to have the opportunity to study and play at a competitive level in college.
